Pantry Volunteer Team Member

Reports To: Reports to the Pantry Coordinator/Decon(ness)

Position Overview

Pantry Volunteer Team Member assists in the daily operations of the non-food pantry items:

  • Sort and organize donations of hygiene and household products.

  • Assist guests during pantry hours with kindness and dignity.

  • Restock shelves and maintain cleanliness in the pantry area.

  • Pray with or for guests as appropriate

Pantry Volunteer Team Member assists in the daily operations of the food pantry, providing support in food collection, organization, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in sorting and organizing food donations.

  • Help prepare food packages for distribution.

  • Provide support during pantry hours to clients.

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of pantry area.

Qualifications

  • Compassionate and willing to serve others.

  • Ability to work in a team setting.

  • Basic organizational skills.

  • Commitment to the mission of the food pantry.
